It's Cold!

Just as predicted...

We have been getting snow consistently since Saturday afternoon!  Last night we had winds up to 75 mph and lost power from 9 pm until 7 am.  We bunkered down in front of the gas fireplace and listened to the wind howling and watched the snow fall.  It looked like we were in a blizzard and sounded like a we were in a hurricane.  I guess we could call it a Snowicane!!  The wind chills were close to zero degrees and are still gusting as I type this.   Needless to say, we were so excited to wake up and have heat again.  We were amazed that they fixed the power so quick.  When this happened back in 2006-power was knocked out for over a week.

E still has his ear infection and we can't wait for it to get better.  He is on Amoxicillin.  We are going on 48 hours on the medicine and hope this starts to help him.  He has been very fussy and has been crying  a lot.  It breaks our heart to see him so unhappy.  We are ready for our easy going guy to make an appearance again soon.   Tomorrow we have his 4 month check up.  We are going to wait until the ear infection is better before we get the 4 month dose of shots.

Hope everyone is having a great start to a wonderful holiday.  Take care and enjoy your family this holiday season!
